Hello there! My name is Coline Walesby, and for the past nine years, I've had the privilege of being part of the dedicated team at Walden Animal Hospital, where I've been a registered veterinary technician since 2014.

I hail from the charming small town of Elliot Lake, where my childhood was filled with unforgettable experiences like fishing, hunting, and kayaking in the serene Canadian wilderness. These early adventures cultivated my deep-rooted love for animals and nature, setting me on a path towards a fulfilling career in animal healthcare.

I wear another proud title in my life – that of a mother to twin girls. Their boundless curiosity and zest for life continually inspire me to nurture and care for the world around us. Our home is also shared with two endearing feline companions, Shiney and Boss. These two cats bring an extra layer of joy to our lives with their playful antics and unwavering affection.

My journey into the world of veterinary medicine started at a young age. From the time I could remember, I harbored a deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on the lives of animals and their well-being. Fuelled by this passion, I embarked on an educational journey that has been as enriching as it has been fulfilling. I earned my veterinary technician diploma from Northern College in Haileybury, Ontario, and then went on to pursue a one-year wildlife rehabilitation diploma.

One area of veterinary medicine that has always captured my heart is dentistry. My special focus on dentistry has allowed me to dive deep into the intricacies of oral health in animals. Ensuring that our furry friends have the healthiest smiles possible is not just a profession for me; it's a calling.

I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to work at Walden Animal Hospital, where I get to combine my love for animals, my small-town upbringing, and my expertise in dentistry to provide exceptional care to our patients. Every day brings new challenges, learning experiences, and heartwarming moments as I strive to make a positive difference in the lives of animals and their families.
