Dr. Carolyn Lariviere

Dr. Lariviere is the lead vet and owner of Walden Animal Hospital. She is Sudbury born and raised, and now resides in the Valley area of Greater Sudbury. Prior to ownership, she worked at Walden Animal Hospital as an associate before taking sole proprietorship five years ago. She is a graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary Clinic in Prince Edward Island and is part of the 2001 graduate class. Dr. Lariviere takes a personal and careful approach with each patient and treats them as if they were her own pet. She puts herself in the shoes of her clients so that they can work together to find a solution for the patient in need so that the best possible results can be achieved.

Dr. Cara Yu

Dr. Yu holds a degree in Veterinarian Medicine from the University of Guelph (2013). Dr. Yu truly believes in keeping up to date with new medicine and treatments and is fervent about continuing education. She practices internal medicine, surgeries, dental work and is expanding her ultrasound abilities. She has a special interest in oncology. She is a passionate world traveller and adventurer.

Dr. Yu is holding Shadow, our clinic cat of 7 years. Shadow manages the clinic and does a purrfect job being the greeter of all living things.

Dr. Jenn Gander

Dr. Gander is an experienced veterinarian who has resided in Sudbury for over 20 years. She is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College (20xx) and has been working with Walden Animal Hospital as well as Gray Street Veterinary Services since. Internal medicine and surgeries complete her day and she specializes in ultrasound/cardiac procedures. She is the proud aunt of three nieces and nephews and has an excellent eye for interior decorating.

Dr. Cassia Michel

Dr. Cassia was born and raised in Sudbury. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Laurentian University and then she completed the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Program at the Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Cassia loves to travel and hopes one day to visit all 7 continents. While in veterinary school she spent a summer volunteering with Veterinarians Without Borders in Uganda and traveled to Thailand to participate in a One Health course. She also enjoys hiking, playing basketball and volleyball and spending relaxing weekends on Manitoulin Island.

Dr. Nancy Waddell

Dr. Nancy Waddell is a homegrown veterinarian from Espanola. She has practiced mixed and small animal medicine and surgery in Espanola, Sudbury, and Manitoulin Island and currently is also teaching in the veterinary technician program at College Boreal in Sudbury. Nancy is thrilled to be home and part of the Gray St team providing quality and compassionate patient care.
