Dr Carolyn Lariviere

Dr Lariviere is the lead vet and owner of Walden Animal Hospital. She is Sudbury born and raised, and now resides in the Valley area of Greater Sudbury. Prior to ownership, she worked at Walden Animal Hospital as an associate before taking sole proprietorship five years ago. She is a graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary Clinic in Prince Edward Island and is part of the 2001 graduate class. Dr Lariviere takes a personal and careful approach with each patient and treats them as if they were her own pet. She puts herself in the shoes of her clients so that they can work together to find a solution for the patient in need so that the best possible results can be achieved.

Dr Brian Kim

Dr Kim is from London and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and Business from the University of Waterloo. He studied veterinary medicine in Korea at Chonnam National University and graduated from the program in 2014. He has been with Walden Animal Hospital for two years, and stands tall with Duffy the cat in this photo – who is up for adoption along with her brother, Timbit!

Dr Cara Yu

Dr Yu is a passionate traveller and moved to Sudbury in 2013. She holds a degree in Veterinarian Medicine from the University of Guelph and is the proud mother of her mixed breed fur baby, MJ. In the photo with Dr Yu is Shadow. Shadow was brought in to Walden Animal Hospital to be euthanized, but Dr Yu just couldn’t do it. Shadow now lives at the clinic and is everyone’s little working companion.

Dr Jenn Gander

Dr Gander is an experienced veterinarian who has resided in Sudbury for the past 20 years. She is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College and has been working as a vet for seven years. Before securing a job with Walden Animal Hospital, Dr Gander volunteered for a number of years with the clinic and fell in love with the profession. She is the proud aunt of three nieces and nephews, and proud mother of her pups, Lily (smiling big in the photo), and her brother Gibbs. 

Dr Veronica Sues

Dr Sues was born in and raised Aurora, Ontario. From an early age, Veronica always wanted to be a veterinarian. Growing up, she had birds, turtles, dogs, fish – you name it, she had it. Today, she is the proud mother of three dogs and one cat. She graduated from the University of Guelph in 2004 and completed her studies from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2012. After graduation, she lived in Milton and worked at a veterinary clinic for a couple of years before moving to Lively in 2014.
